This is a recipe my sister gave me, she regularly makes a batch and often doubles it. It’s a very easy recipe to make and so much better for you than store bought truffles or bliss balls.


1/2 cup almonds

1/2 cup Te Atatu Toasted Original

2 tablespoons coconut oil

1 tablespoon honey

1/4 cup water

1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence

2 tablespoons each dried cranberries and chopped up dried apricots

Desiccated coconut for rolling


Place the first 6 ingredients in a blender and blitz to a paste.

Remove and add the cranberries and apricot pieces and refrigerate until it is form.

Roll into balls and then roll in the coconut.

Makes approximately 20.

Store in the fridge and enjoy with a cuppa or as a snack.
