Our gluten free muesli is surprisingly good sprinkled on salads. It adds crunch and extra nutrition from the delicious seeds, grains and chickpeas in the muesli. Lightly toasting the muesli and adding tamari gives it an extra delicious savoury flavour and is so simple to do.

 

Ingredients:

½ cup Te Atatu Toasted Gluten Free Muesli

1 teaspoon tamari sauce*

Method:

Place the ½ cup of Gluten Free Muesli on a dry non-stick fry pan and just lightly toast. Remove from the heat as soon as you hear them crackle - depending on how hot your frying pan is, it will be only a minute or two.

Add the teaspoon of tamari sauce immediately. As the pan sizzles, quickly roll it around to coat the muesli. Leave to cool and store in an airtight container.

Enjoy sprinkled on salads, roasted veggies or even as a snack.

*If you are coeliac ensure the tamari sauce is gluten free, some contain wheat.
