How to eat your Paleo Blend muesli

How to eat your Paleo Blend muesli

The best way to eat Paleo Blend is one blue scoop (a third of a cup) with a dash of milk, a third of a cup of plain yoghurt and some fresh fruit. It’s a smaller bowl than you’re probably used to. That’s the point.

If you have bought a bag of the Paleo Blend, thank you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Besides breakfast, I love it sprinkled on plain yoghurt for a healthy dessert.

👉Sometimes the ingredients settle out in this one - so please give the bag a shake to evenly mix it again.👈

What’s in paleo muesli?

I started Te Atatū Toasted because so many supermarket cereals are ultra-processed. Too much sugar, too much salt, and a list of additives, colours and flavourings you can’t pronounce. Plus cornflakes. Always the cornflakes, with sugar added to make them palatable.

Paleo Blend is different. It’s made from nuts and seeds you can actually see in the bowl, with no ultra processed filler grains. You can read the whole label.

How much paleo muesli should you eat?

One serve is a third of a cup. That’s exactly what the blue scoop holds, and you can add a free one to your order.

I know a third of a cup looks small. But nuts and seeds are dense and filling and nutritious, so a little goes a long way. Most of my regulars tell me it keeps them full until lunchtime, without the mid-morning crash.

What do you eat paleo muesli with?

Here’s how I have mine:

  • A dash of milk
  • A third of a cup of plain yoghurt (fruit yoghurts often have a lot of added sugar)
  • Fresh fruit. Berries and kiwifruit are lower in sugar than most

Is paleo muesli gluten free?

Yes. Paleo Blend is gluten free. There are no oats, wheat or other gluten-containing grains in it, it's made in a separate room that’s kept free of gluten.

That room does handle nuts and sesame seeds, so if you have a nut or sesame allergy, this one isn’t for you. The Gluten Free Blend  is made in a room kept free of gluten, nuts and sesame.

Can you eat paleo muesli as a snack or in baking?

Yes. It’s a cracking snack straight from the bag, and it’s lovely sprinkled over yoghurt for dessert. It also works well in baking. You’ll find some recipes using Paleo Blend here.

How do I order more?

I sell online across New Zealand, direct to you, in big bags. Selling this way means I can keep the price fair without cutting corners on ingredients. It also means I get to know everyone in the Te Atatū Toasted whānau.

You can order whenever you need a top-up or set up a subscription and it just arrives. A monthly subscription is the best value, and you can skip or cancel any time.

When you’re ready for your next bag, you can order here.

And if you would like a portion spoon with your order, you can add that here.
