It's that time of the year when we are all heading back into the routine of five-day work and school weeks. It’s great to have some nutritious and delicious goodies ready for the lunchboxes.

This muesli slice is so easy and can be made in less than 10 minutes!

Ingredients:

1x 400g packet Te Atatu Original Blend Muesli or Gluten Free Blend

25g butter

¼ cup honey

¼ cup raw sugar

Method:

Line a square dish with baking paper.

Put the muesli in a bowl. In a saucepan put the butter, honey and raw sugar and stir until melted and the sugar granules disappear, continue to cook (and stir) for 3 – 5 minutes until it reaches a toffee like consistency – this will help the slice set. Tip the melted mixture into the muesli and mix quickly, then tip into the lined baking dish and press down. Place in the fridge to set then cut into 25 squares.
