I love layered breakfasts and this one is a winner, with an unusual twist. The recipe includes basil seeds, they are full of nutrition and work well with our range of mueslis, below is the recipe. If you can't find any basil seeds, you can replace with chia seeds.

This recipe serves 1 and can easily be doubled or tripled as required.

Ingredients:

1 portion spoon1 Te Atatu Toasted 97% Sugar Free Healthy Blend Muesli  or you could use any of our mueslis, they would all work well.

1 portion spoon yoghurt - in this recipe we used coconut yoghurt.

1 or 2 teaspoons basil or chia seeds - depending how thick the yoghurt you use is, if you use Greek or coconut yoghurt 1 teaspoon is enough.

1 portion spoon of passionfruit or your favourite fruit diced up.

Method:

Mix the yoghurt and basil seeds together and leave for 10 minutes so the basil seeds can swell.

To make the layers - place 1/2 the muesli in followed by 1/2 the yoghurt mixture, followed by 1/2 the fruit and repeat, then eat and enjoy!

1The portion spoon is 1/3 cup these come free with your first online muesli order, to help you know how much cereal to have.
